How many hours do you have?

The question everyone asks once they step off the ship. Pick the scenario that matches your call and follow the plan.

1 hour

Short call

If your stop is brief, you don't need to leave the terminal. Puerto Mágico gives you a welcome to Mexico with no risk of missing the ship.

  • Walk the plaza and the craft stores
  • Try Mexican snacks or a coffee
  • Take photos of the bay from the pier
  • Head back to the ship on foot or by shuttle
3 to 4 hours

The ideal call

Enough time to enjoy the plaza calmly and still get a taste of downtown Puerto Vallarta.

  • Breakfast or lunch on site
  • Buy crafts and Mexican goods
  • Head downtown: the Malecón and Zona Romántica
  • Return with margin before departure
6 hours or more

Full day

With more hours you can combine the plaza, the city and a guided activity without rushing.

  • Bay tour or a trip to the southern beaches
  • Walk through the historic center
  • Food and shopping at Puerto Mágico
  • Free time before boarding

Important: always plan your return with time to spare. Ship departure times are strict and boarding closes before the posted hour. Puerto Mágico is in the same terminal, so getting back is quick and traffic-free.
